The 2008 Taipei Rotary Institute will be on Oct. 15~19, 2008 for Zones 4B, 6B & 7B. There will be an exhibition of Rotary projects for which participation by all districts is encouraged. More info available in the Major Events page.

  Membership Development Seminar

The "Membership Development Information and Retention" seminar on August 2, 2008 at Semabok Inn, Melaka was a success.

      Global Handwashing Day - 15 Oct 2008
    Rotary clubs are encouraged to let their Water Resource Group Coordinator know how they can help celebrate this day and participate in the Global Handwashing Day with our UNICEF partners. Materials to support your efforts are attached. These materials have been developed by UNICEF to help us in our Rotary mission.

      RI Service Above Self Award 2008-09

    RI President DK Lee invites you to submit a nomination for the 2008-09 RI Service Above Self Award. Each day, Rotarians around the world generously give their time and effort to serve others, often without recognition. Since 1992, the RI Service Above Self Award has honored Rotarians who demonstrate exemplary humanitarian service and embody our motto of Service Above Self. This award recognizes Rotarians for their humanitarian service, rather than their service to Rotary, and offers a means of honoring those who might otherwise go unrecognized.

    Nomination forms are available for download from the RI Web site. The electronic nomination form contains fields that will allow you to type directly on it. Nominations must be typewritten and must arrive at RI World Headquarters no later than 1 September 2008.
